Executive Assistant III

Sophary has a strong connection to Stockton, a city that she greatly admires for its lively culture and diverse community. Over the past decade, her focus has been on serving our district’s community. She began her career with the Stockton Unified School District Police Department as an Office Assistant and to become the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police, a role that allows her to play a significant part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our school community. Sophary is an Advisor for the Explorer Program where she has the privilege to mentor and guide young individuals who aspire to pursue careers in law enforcement. Community engagement is at the core of her dedication as she actively participates in various community initiatives and projects aimed at improving the quality of life for Stockton residents. Whether it is organizing food drives, toy drives, volunteering at local events, or collaborating with community organizations, she is committed to giving back and making a positive impact. Her passion for community service is deeply rooted in her upbringing and her desire to have her family grow in a better community. She firmly believes that active involvement in community service contributes to the ongoing growth and success of Stockton, creating a thriving environment for everyone.

About the Stockton USD Department of Public Safety

The Stockton Unified School District Department of Public Safety is one of a handful of specialized K–12 police agencies in California. The Department works 24/7 with a focus on students, staff, schools, and safety/security, and serves more than 40,000 students, faculty, and staff at more than 60 schools in the greater Stockton community.
