Officer Macias has been employed with SUSD DPS, Stockton Unified Department of Public Safety for about one year. He will be assigned as the SRO, School Resource Officer at Stagg High School this year. Officer Macias has been a native of the Stockton area and attended SUSD schools.
Officer Macias graduated from Franklin High School. While attending, he played baseball for the Yellowjackets. His favorite sports teams are the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers. Officer Macias attended MJC, Modesto Junior College, where he also played baseball.
While attending MJC, Officer Macias had a strong interest in Law Enforcement. He spoke with instructors, who advised him to attend the SJDC, San Joaquin Delta College Police Academy. After leaving college, Officer Macias attended the SJDC Police Academy for six months.
Officer Macias enjoys fishing, boating, coaching baseball, and spending time with his family on his days off. He has coached baseball in the Stockton community for about 10 years and wishes to continue his journey. He is also excited to start his journey as a Law Enforcement Officer.
