Sergeant Andrews was born and raised in Elk Grove, California. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She is currently working on her Master’s in Criminal Justice Leadership. She has a passion for public service, having begun her career as an EMT and transitioning into law enforcement in 2016. As an officer, she held roles as a School Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, and Detective. She has 8 years of law enforcement experience and holds the rank of Sergeant. As a Sergeant, she oversees the special events, training schedule, and patrol shift. She is a wife and mother of two wild boys. She believes in Socrates’ famous words, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”
