Explorer Program

The Explorer Program

The Explorer Program offers young adults a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect for the rule of law, physical fitness, good citizenship and patriotism. PAL

The Police Athletic League (PAL)

The Police Athletic League (PAL) of SUSD Department of Public Safety foster and encourage the development of positive relationships between our youth, officers and community members and nurture the creative spirit, challenge the mind and strengthen the body. Each participant is encouraged to develop skills that will allow growth and lead to healthy life choices. Learn More


AMPS for Kids

Anger Management Program (AMPS)

AMPS aims to educate 3rd and 4th-grade students on anger management. Learn More


Crossing Guard Training

The Crossing Guard Program will parent volunteers to help create gaps in traffic on busy neighborhood collector roads, remind drivers of the presence of people walking, help instill safe walking skills in students and their families, and indicate when people driving should yield. Learn More
